Car Air Conditioning FAQS
Towers Automotive are well placed to take care all of your Vehicle Air Conditioning Re-gas, Servicing, Repair and Inspection needs
Car air conditioner systems use refrigerant to take the heat from the air within the inside of the vehicle out of the car, leaving only cooled or 'conditioned' air behind to be recirculated. It is important to regularly check the condition of the rubber seals for any signs of leaks or issues which could be causing a loss of refrigerant.
To allow for this the refrigerant in your Vehicle Air Conditioner system should ideally be refilled completely within four years of the manufacture date and every two to three years after that.
You should take your car to a reputable workshop such as Towers Automotive (AU37246) on a regular basis to ensure the air conditioner system continues performing in top conditon as well as having the mechanics review the condition of the whole vehicle.
Repco Authorised Service mechanics perform a 65 point Vehicle Inspection with every service and are able to alert you to any components that may need renewal in the near future or those that are already worn beyond repair.
